Has anybody recieved an offer from Sheffield yet? If so, when did you apply? I have heard that they try to give a decision within a week.. does anyone know if this is true? The waiting game is not as fun as i had presumed...

Got my sheffield offer 6 working days after I sent the app.
Mine was for Law+German LL.B and offer was AB

Yeah AB.
I am predicted AAA, but already have an A at A-Level; hence why my offer is just two grades from the traditional AAB offer.

Yes, I really liked it.. The facilities were impressive and the staff really welcoming. I think it was the accommodation that did it for me though! Encliffe village was fantastic, have you visited?

As soon as I entered the campus I felt at home; and being someone from rural southern England that's impressive!
REALLY welcoming staff and students, excellent facilities, location fab, pretty cheap - everything one could ask for!
Am going back on 10th March though: my firm choice stands a competition between Sheffield and Cardiff

mine was sent the 16th october, i got my offer 2nd november for BA Sociology, offer of BBB.

I sent mine on 8 October (I think) and got a reply within about 5 days. They do say on their site that you should hear within a week.

i loved it, it's my second choice though, just below warwick. but it was amazing, loved the atmosphere and the city so would be awesome if i went there!

I've also applied to Warwick...whether they'll offer me a place or not idk. I'm not overly keen on Coventry tbh but we'll just have to see.
I also loved Sheffield, was quite amazing.
