In a couple of weeks, I'm going to see La Roux at the Shepherd's Bush Empire, but I really don't want to be in the middle of it when the low-class fans start 'moshing' and crowd-surfing. A couple of weeks ago I saw Passion Pit, and ended up kicking a guy in the face when he was lying on the floor after bumping into me while moshing. Where would be a good place though to stand so that I don't have to subject myself to that kind of riff-raff?

When I saw La Roux it was one of the most static performances I've ever witnessed, I don't think you'll have a problem

bring a dog so it can translate? - and is La Roux really a 'moshing' kinda gig - maybe i misunderstand the meaning of moshing - and the back probably in answer to your question

Are Passion Pit a 'moshing' kind of gig then? I went to see the Noisettes a couple of weeks before them, and it was really static (but fun at the same time).

La Roux are horrible live, that voice which is just about bearable over a single track becomes that bit more awful.

I like them, and you're a nobody over the internet, so that useless bit of information doesn't really carry that much clout.

Man the **** up and stand at the back/to the side then if it bothers you that much, although I seriously doubt that moshing is going to be that much of an issue.

not that I can see it happening but if you want to get close I would said front left or front right , just stray from the middle.
