Girls and guys please give me your opinion, help me out.

I met this guy at a party a few weeks ago who I got on with really well. He was complimenting me etc and kissed me (on the cheek - I've never kissed a guy before so I avoided kissing him properly ). He asked for my number. He was sober then.

So he continued drinking and I just left him after a while to hang with my friends. He became really drunk and I saw him kissing a girl who is completely not his type. She was drunk off her head too.

When I saw him again, he was all like "oh I thought you left? where have you been" blah blah.

Nowwww, he's been texting me friendly texts and recently confessed to liking me and wanting a relationship with me and such. He's told all his friends/mutual friends that he likes me.

Is it wise to stay away from him since he can't control himself when he drinks?I've never had a boyfriend before, I don't want to be screwed over by him. Yay or nay?

Hes single and was at the time he pulled the other girl so i dont see what he did wrong. If you want a relationship start dating him but untill you start saying your in a relationship dont expect him to be only seeing you

NO big enough for you ....you saw him kiss another girl after only talking with him for one night, did you expect him to reserve himself just for you after that point?

You could have done exactly the same.

What he did when he was single is different to what things will be like in a relationship.
You may well be his 'type' so get involved and relax a little bit.

To others, I know his type because our mutual friends (who have known him 10+ years) said so. :s

Yeah but...theres single...and then theres leading multiple girls on at the same time..which I dno. Is a little offputting.

no - if you want a relationship with someone you don't go kissing other girls no matter how drunk you are - and if he does this now he's likely to do it later and you'll get hurt - the whole 'i thought you'd left' thing shows he was sober enough to think he wouldn't get caught and do something behind your back (i know your not together - but if he said the things he said and then acted the way he did he clearly doesn't have many morals and needs to grow up i think if he wants a relationship like he says)

maybe that's a bit harsh but this is how i've seen it - i say nay - i'm sure you can do much better

Good point, but I thought "frigid" was the insult of choice for 12 year olds.

Moving on, he kissed another girl drunk at a party after knowing you for very little time. That's allowed! Give the bloke a chance.

Davesteed, yeah I thought it was a bit wierd when he came up to me with his "I thought you left" speech, he honestly looked guilty which was weird.

I know the girl he kissed and we don't/never have liked each other for the past 6ish years.
