Rafa won't be sacked, well not by the current owners anyway, and he most probably wouldn't be sacked by the next ones, if there are any new owners that is. Real may come knocking and that may prove to be what makes him go, but I don't think he'll go to them due to his fight for control at Liverpool, and the complete lack of it at Madrid. Sadly at the moment this is starting to get shades of his spell at Valencia.....
Yes, the squad lacks depth but he has to be given time, and money, to mold the squad, esp seeing as how the structure of the club was altered when he was handed the bumper contract. Everybody makes mistakes in the transfer market, the name Djemba springs to mind...... one of the reasons why Rafa's stand out more is due to the fact that the club is, and has been, poorly run. Liverpool need a new stadium, and were promised one by the cowboys, a promise they reneged upon once they realized that they were not going to make a quick buck.
