Default Is this current socialist labour government corrupt and evil?

We know they have misled over immigration (by allowing unrestricted access yet professing control), which has resulted in the rise of the BNP. We know that they have mishandled the economy claiming no more boom and bust economics but yet we are enduring the worst recession (probably depression) since the 1930s. We know they have misled over the Iraqi and Afghanistan adventures, which has cost the public purse money, and the honourable shoulder his life fighting terrorist professing extreme Islamic views. We know most if not all socialist labour politicians have lined their pockets with tax payers cash but yet professing their allegiance to the common man. So is new labour a corrupt and evil socialist that speaks with fork tongue? What do you think?

I rather have relaxed laws and more personal freedom. If we need to sell illegal arms to some militant group in North Africa...Why not? It helps our trade deficit and national debt.

Yes they have misled us over immigration, but I think its the neglection of immigration issues by all mainstream parties and the effects of the recession combined that has led to the recent boost in BNP support.

In terms of the wars, you have to remember that the Tories also voted for us to invade Iraq and that the Tories supported the Iraq venture all the way through, so its not just corrupt 'socialists' leading us to war.
In fact many leading socialists were against the war from the begining.

And yes labour politicians have lined their pockets with taxpayers cash, as have the Tories and the Lib Dems and all the parties who have seats in Westminster and Brussells.

In short I don't think the current Labour government is any worse than a Cameron one would be, and the idea of Labour being 'evil' is plain stupid.

New Labour are more centre right than anything these days with current policies. They are most definitely not by any standards socialist. Perhaps you should do a little research before you throw terminology you clearly do not understand around?

You seem to be forgetting in your accusations, that the Tories supported the invasions of Afghanistan & Iraq, whilst Labour had their hands in the trough so did the Conservatives (duck houses and moats anyone?), it's not just Labour who ignore scientists advice on drugs policy the Tories have a history of that too, the majority of Tories voted against the freedom of information act with regards to MP's expenses (they wanted to keep it secret).

New Labour and the Conservatives are one and the same these days.

There isn't a single socialist party represented in Parliament.

They didn't remove clause four, they amended it - indeed, the amended text for the first time declared them to be a socialist party.

Bah, you know what I meant. Anyway, The BNP say they are not racist, but it doesn't make it true.

On the contrary I use the term socialist deliberately because that is what new labour profess to be, and they claim to practise socialist policies. Socialism is a dishonest philosophy - claim one thing but practise another. You show a moving cartoon demonstrating violence so you can not be a socialist, or are you? So are you professing pacifism yet glorifying violence in a cartoon. You know a socialist that says one thing but mean another!

Labour are a lot less "socialist" than they used to be. I wouldn't say that they are evil, just have made some terrible choices.

But how are they even evil? Unless you are being sarcastic?

They make mistakes yes, I wouldn't vote for them. But nothing they ever do has been for 'evil' purpose, rather for what they thought was good for the people (however misguided that may be).
