Is there any good way I can get rid of my plastic bags?

Basically, I have quite a few plastic bags in my room atm - from clothes & food shopping.

My uni doesn't recycle plastic bags, but recyles some other plastic things.

I was interested where I could recycle them, or if reusing them was simply the best idea?

most supermarkets have carrier bag recycling.

Or reuse them yourself for household small bins etc

Take them to your local newsagents, they'll be very grateful. And plastic bags always come in use for something anyway

I keep all my bags so that I can reuse them at some point - as soon as you throw them away you'll find you need a bag for something.

just chuck them in the bin, recycling is a waste of time, recycling those bags won't stop global warming

I have loads. I keep them in one (larger) bag. I use them primarily as bins in my room. Failing this, share them out with your mates so you all have bins ^^
