I tried, believe me! I couldn't find anywhere I could learn Swedish or another scandinavian language :frown:

. Maybe I just didn't look hard enough..

Plus I already do French and Spanish so I opted for the safe option.

- southampton offer beginners' swedish options
- scandinavian studies is offered at ucl and edinburgh
- you can do french and swedish at ucl iirc

sheffield USED to offer swedish but don't anymore :sad:

Ahh that'll be the problem. I didn't like Southampton and London's too expensive (according to the 'rents). Didn't know about Edinburgh, I would have applied... ah wellll there's always my 1940s book :wink:

The only exam i'm doing is C3, my school does most of the exams in the summer, but Maths has 3 modules so we're doing C3 in january.

13 Jan:
Statistics 1 Exam (Edexcel) - 1pm
15 Jan:
Mechanics 1 Exam (Edexcel) - 1pm
18 Jan:
Physics A Unit 2 Exam (AQA) - 1pm
20 Jan:
Core Mathematics 3 (Edexcel) - 1pm
28 Jan
Physics A Unit 4 Exam (AQA) - 1pm

I also have been entered for Computing COMP3 AQA exam, but it didn't show up on my exam timetable so my teacher went to enquire about it.

Yeah I know, I think it's the only syllabus to involve biochemistry! :mad:

Ah well, it's not too bad because you can kind of get away with learning past answers to questions and regurgitate them in the exam.

Yea, and even then its only a small amount :sad:

Thats the only good thing about the syllabus tbh. I hate linking everything to the blooming industry!

Btw I'm stil doing Old spec salters chem, but from what I've seen, there isn't many differences at all in the content. Especially in the natural resources!
