Hey guys. Starting to think sbout uni applications, and confused and wanted some help from ur point of view. Firstly what's it like, fun or huge amounts of work. Secondly how much debt is a three year degree gonna create, and how much is money a problem to you while at uni, Lastly is anyone doing what i want ot do, environmental science (im thinking cambridge, southampton, edinburugh and uea) Thanks!
Mostly fun, some work, you'll be in debt anyway, least so if you're Scottish at a Scottish Uni, most so if you're INTL at a decent English uni. And my first module in Env Science seems to be pretty easy.
I know, through a little web research, of 4 people on TSR that claim to attend Oxbridge who in fact don't. These people will be exposed shortly, with proof.
Having only been here since end of sept i must say its exceeded me expectations dramatically, its loads of fun and as much work you want it to be really.
I conclusively answered your question in a few lines of text anyway, Peanut. It's fun, you do some work you socialise a lot you meet loads of people drink loads blah de blah.
Since i've been here it has been uniformly AMAZING.
Glad to hear you're enjoying manchester. I lived their for 10 years before I moved to Durham for my course. Missing it like crazy! Have you been in cor biers off deansgate yet? Best dukebox in the city...

Yeah yeah thanks for that What is oxbridge ne ways?????Its probably something really cool that iv never heard of cos im the defenition of uncool
Cambridge is not for you, if you can't spell and use punctuation then, as previously stated, Cambridge is not for you. I don't think they even offer Environmental Science?
For me its been; First year - lots of fun, a little bit of work Second year - half fun, half work Third year- lots of work but still some fun
There is quite a lot of debt but you don't pay it back until you're earning over 15000 and the amount you pay back each month depends on your income so it shouldn't be a problem. The amount of money you have depends on how well you budget and if you get a job. I like to save money and work full time over the holidays but not during term time and haven't had any problems, but I know some people who refuse to work, go on a spending spree the day they get their loan and then complain that they've run out of money.
Uni is pretty awesome, you meet all sorts of people and do stuff you wouldn't get to do otherwise! Yes there's work, but everyone else around you has work too, so you can suffer and complain together Also:

Oxbridge is the collective name for Oxford and Cambridge, I think it's probably best if you look into stuff like that if you're thinking about applying there...
