Uniqlo HeatTech clothing - does it actually work?

Just wondering if anyone has bought any Uniqlo HeatTech clothing and whether it actually works in keeping you warmer and 'generates heat from body moisture' and all that gimmicky stuff they put on the packet?

How much do they cost?
Yes, I'm wearing a HeatTech T Shirt right now. :coma:

Gimmicky **** which isnt worth the money, like all of uniqlo stuff.

If your after a warm jacket just go for a decent standard jacket (stay away from north face etc, their not what you need most likely). You can get far better quality+cheaper thermals (which is what they are) elsewhere

I have a number of vests, long and short sleeved. They work reasonably well. What do NOT work are their Long Johns!
Both I and my son have tried them and our legs got cold! I have queried this with Uniqlo who of course say that there is no problem with Heattech!!
