C-Pop, K-Pop, and J-Pop lovers!
Hey guys!
Are you guys interested in Chinese pop, Korean pop, or Japanese pop? If so, please post the links (music video or MP3) here and tell us how you think of them!
You can also post new releases of the singles, mini-albums, albums, and videos starring your favourite artists and actors!
Anyone can join!
Let me start first:
I really heard of a really good and addicting song...by the Brown Eyed Girls <브라운 아이드 걸스>. They released a new album and it's called Sign <싸인>.
Here's the link to it:

Re: C-Pop, K-Pop, and J-Pop lovers!Ah...you like SNSD? I think they're an awesome group.(Original post by Wuzzie)
GEEGEEGEE.
...I have a Korean friend, who recommended a few downloads to me, so I currently have SNSD and G Dragon on my ipod. lD xDD
I like JRock, apart from that. 8D?
I'll look up Brown Eyed Girls!
J-Rock seems pretty good...but other than L'Arc-en-Ciel and Nightmare...I don't know much about it.
Do you like J-Pop? If so...which artists do you know of? -
Re: C-Pop, K-Pop, and J-Pop lovers!XD I like Nightmare! Other then that, Aural Vampire?(Original post by zero_Gravity91)

...I don't think I actually know any J-Pop artists. 8D; Nothing really gets over here, to the best of my knowledge. o__o; Who would you recommend? -

Well...I know a few J-Pop artists...I guess I'll give you a few:
Female Artists
1) 中島美嘉 (Mika Nakashima) - I really like her old songs...but her new songs are pretty good as well. It has a reggae/jazz beat in her old songs...which makes it so different from other artists. I guess that's why I'm so captivated by her.
2) 宇多田ヒカル (Utada Hikaru) - She's one of the best mainstream J-pop artists in Japan...and has tried to sell some albums in the US...though it wasn't so great. She has many awesome songs...one of them being "First Love" and "HEART STATION". One of my favourites.
3) 浜崎あゆみ (Ayumi Hamasaki) - She's also in the mainstream media...and she's really popular in Japan. I like a few of her songs...such as "Jewel" and "Momentum"...and I think one called "Evolution".
4) 倖田來未 (Koda Kumi) - I think her music is more for the sexual appeal (just like Lee Hyori <이효리> in Korea). She's not bad...and she's also in the mainstream media.
Male Artists
1) 嵐 (Arashi) - Popular in Japan. They have good songs as well...and they've been in the J-pop industry for a long time.
2) w-inds. - Although they aren't so popular anymore...they have great songs in the beginning stages of their careers.
I'll just end it here...and I'll see if you'll like it or not.

Re: C-Pop, K-Pop, and J-Pop lovers!
I have a few friends who like JRock, KPop and CPop. Mostly Korean Pop though now, so they were like check it out, so I did.
So far i've listened to SNSD, Super Junior, Super Junior-M, F(X), 4Minute, Wondergirls, Kara and some others.
I've known about Utada Hikaru, Koda Kumi and Ayumi Hamasaki for a while though, so you know.
I think Korean Pop is quite good, so you know I have some on my iPod xD -
Re: C-Pop, K-Pop, and J-Pop lovers!Yeah...all of these artists are famous in the K-Pop industry. It's good that you listen to K-Pop.(Original post by fahadalhasan)

However...I think you should listen to more varieties...and expand into other "fields".

Re: C-Pop, K-Pop, and J-Pop lovers!I've listened to J-Rock before, it's all right however it's not really my cup of tea. Pop is more of my taste. But then it depends on the track, so i'll keep expanding and see what I find. As for J-Rock i've listened to Gackt, L'Arc-en-Ciel, Asian Kung-Fu Generation etc.(Original post by zero_Gravity91)

AKFG is quite good, Gackt is okay and L'Arc-en-Ciel isn't my thing. The only reason I have heard of Gackt is from Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus XD -

Oh...so you've heard of them. I don't think that you should ignore them...although you found them annoying. In fact...those are the songs that helped them rise to power in the K-Pop industry...so I think they're songs that should not be missed!
In my opinion...I think you lean towards C-Pop and Taiwanese Pop. I presume that you're Chinese?
I never heard of Hokkien songs. Do you know 福建話 (Fukienese)? -
