When do you start applying for University accommodation?
At the moment I've got 4 offers just waiting for the last one and I already know my firm choice and insurance. Do O apply when I've replied to the uni's, do I wait for them to send me an accommodation application form, do it online or wait untill my results come out?

Usually you get an application booklet and form with the offer they send you, but if not, wait until they send you the info (if you accidently put 'living at home' on your UCAS form, then you might have to request the info from the housing office). Only apply for accommodation at your firm university, as unis only accept accommodation forms from applicants holding unconditional/conditional firm offers.

Apply now so that you can reserve the accommodation you want, if you wait until your results come out there may not be much or no accommodation left. If you meet the terms of the offer, you will be sent your tenancy agreement. If you don't meet the terms of your offer, the accommodation you reserved will become available to other people, such as those in clearing. If you get into your insurance then you will most likely get accommodation not needed by applicants who didn't get the grades, so for your insurance you get no preference.

That may be the case at some universities, Phoenix, but it's just as likely to be different. At many, you need to apply even if it is only your insurance; deadline dates will vary; it may be first come, first served or it may not.
You should really check on the website of the universities you think you may want to go to - don't rely on them sending you a booklet - stuff does occasionally get lost in the post!
