Renal
Speaking to dozens of ambo crew (of all grades), inappropriate Cat As for 'flu in a 20 year-old who says the magic two words are not what they go to work for. There are plenty of stories of people arguing with NHS Redirect that they are not infact dying while an ambulance and rapid response car scream through traffic to get there in 8. And there are plenty of scum who don't care that the cough they've had for a week doesn't need antibiotics, let alone a blue light taxi to A&E.
Sorry, I was just trying to give some advice from my own (limited) experience, luckily some more experienced people like yourself came along to give better advice. I am fortunate enough to have never had any problems with NHS Direct myself so I can't really comment.
