They were started up by KCH students, really cool, check out the Metro feature. -
Re: Websites for finding a job
Sometimes Gumtree, can be good for finding part time stuff but it's a bit hit and miss. They have regional ones so your mileage may vary depending on where you are.
I also found this website the other day that has information about mystery shopping and promotional work jobs. Again, they can be a bit hit and miss but they are good for a bit of part time cash. There's stuff on there about medical trials too, they pay very well but I'm not sure if I want to get involved in that sort of thing!Last edited by cat herder; 27-06-2012 at 23:14. I quite like Indeed.
It's a job search engine which covers many other sites. -
Re: Websites for finding a job
Hi there,
I am currently looking for someone to work for my company Initi8 Marketing. I have a commission only telesales position available, you may work anytime you like between working hours 9-5 on a self-employed basis (you are responsible for your own tax and NI contributions).
The position requires you to work off your own initiative targeting businesses from specific sectors. You may work as much or as little as you like.
You will be ringing businesses to book sales meeting for myself, if the client signs up, you will receive £100.
It is preferable if you have experience and live in the Leeds/Bradford area.
Please drop me a message if you are interested. -
Re: Websites for finding a job
Have a look at FieldStar. www.fieldstar.org
It's free to join unlike some other promo work websites. Some interesting jobs on at the minute. I think once you join they email you with new jobs available and I actually pay the £3 a month professional membership so that I can use their online cv and cover letter templates. -
Re: Websites for finding a job
My advice, if you're looking for a job, is to look at one type of work, so, for example, retail or hospitality, it's better to choose the type that you've got some experience in. This way you can tailor your cv or application form to suit this type of work. That's what worked for me, good luck
Not really sure how to go about things with agencies
