They have an IT section on the Connexions Cheshire website. There should be IT jobs on other connexions websites, somewhere. If you can't find any, you could go in and ask them, they'll probably have a big level arch file of all jobs available, they did when I went, or you could ask them to print some off for you.

Good luck with looking for jobs tomorrow. Are you doing IT at university?
Thanks for the suggestion. The Connexions job website doesn't have an IT section. I'll go into the Connexions center tommorow and ask for some IT vaccancies.

Thanks for the luck. Yes, I am doing IT at university.

I haven't found reed to be like that at all. I signed up online yesterday afternoon, and early this morning I had a phone call to arrange an interview for tomorrow for a job.

    Depends where you live...

If you live near a big shopping centre then they will advertise hundreds of jobs on their website, a few examples:

    Meadowhall

    Metro Centre

For any graduates or soon to be graduates Doctorjob is a good source for jobs, or seeing who's advertising.

BUT, it also gives you great advice on CV's, cover letter and stuff.

    I found Prospects useful too

Seriously applying online is really difficult to actually get a placement. What I found helpful was the www.palconnex.com website given to me by Connexions. However, I think that it only applies to London vacancies. But its still worth a look. Hope this helps!

P.S. Take down the reference number and go to your local Connexions. They will do the rest.

anybody who loves to fly but can't really be cabin crew or anything, here's a really nice chance! it's on the british airways website, www.britishairwaysjobs.com, and its basically where you work for 13 weeks in the summer, taking care of unaccompanied children. looks really interesing! take a look, do the 'vacancy search' without typing in anything, and you'll find it! tell me if this is useful or if you're applying!
ps: pay sounds rly good... €8.79/h
