can you please help me with this:
suppose every day you drive somewhere (doesn't matter where really) and the probability that you get all green lights is 0.04.
how many days do you expect to wait until you get all green lights two days in a row?
i'm thinking a weird tree diagram.....

Then I'd use the geometric distribution - have you seen this yet?
