It was going to happen sooner or later tbh. Feel sorry for him though considering the financial situation he had to manage with at the start.

A sensible move by Pompey, imo. It gives the new manager time to work with the squad, and then decide who to bring in in January. Grant will probably move downstairs.

    Bad decision.

Darren Ferguson will be at Pompey soon, no doubt. Another halfwit to join the ever growing circus.

Bit gutted for Liverpool, but Fiorentina are a good team and it will be interesting to see how far they go.

As for Pompey, I think Hart really had to go, although he's had one of the hardest jobs and seemed to be turning it around a little bit. Relegation battle seems as tight this year as it was last year.

Barcelona beat a really really pathetic Inter team & they are so luck with what happened in keiv, Inter don't deserve to get to the second stage..... also Barcelona's team is so boring at times, they were just passing with no real penetration most of the time (maybe because there best two players were injured i dunno), I'm hoping real madrid can really show them up.

Florentina are impressive in the champions league & not serie A.... They really do play some good football at times with penetration, I think vargas is a good player

It's a disaster for Liverpool to go out, surely the financial implications of this won't be good either. Probably the right move to let Paul Hart go from Portsmouth, think if they appoint Avram Grant they will be fine but if they bring in Darren Ferguson, I can only see him taking them down to the Championship.

I wish to remove Phil Brown's face with a cooked, resin hardened, sharpened remnant of his own despicably patchy tanned foreskin.
A more severe edit than Kev's, but it was going that way.
