His influence has been on the wane in the last season or two. Interesting to see who, if anyone, they bring in to replace him. -

Team GB is playing New Zealand at the Millenium stadium and the stadium is just about half full. As for the 2nd game between the US and France, I'd be surprised if the attendance reaches 10K. Such a shame!!!

From our perspective the move isn't about the fee but more about getting Cahill off our wage bill. He was one of our highest paid players who wasn't performing to the same level for a good 18 months.(Original post by Abiraleft)

Pienaar should be signing on Tuesday I believe - If we can add one more and retain our most important players then we're on for a serious challenge for Europe.(Original post by Abiraleft)

On a final note I want to say that Cahill really has been the symbol of the Moyes era. The man will always be the definitive Everton icon of the naughties! He'll always be loved at Goodison Park. -
