What's the frigging point in assistants behind the goal if they end up by the corner flag or even on the pitch?

Is it just those assistants being retards or Platini being a retard?

Platini being retarded, just bring in video refereeing.

We'll have to wait until Blatter decides to stop electing himself. Which I doubt will be soon.

So of all the banks in the world, Pompey's bank was the only one "having problems due to a religious festival"?

I am getting tired of all the verbal diarrhea that the owners have let out for thep ast few months.

I hope we do go into admin, then we will know where we stand.

You do have to wonder just how much worse it can get for Portsmouth.
    http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/foot...th/8394092.stm

Not only that they can't play one of their strikers on loan because other wise they have to pay the club who he's on loan from a huge sum of money.

I really hope that striker isn't Piquonne. I hope it's Dindane - The amount of chances he has scuffed at is just a joke. Danny Webber would be a better choice at the moment, if Dindane keeps messing up. Or Tommy Smith.

    Obvious that you
    a) didn't watch the game, or
    b) don't know how to interpret the images.

    Try slow motion?
You were ***** and can't have any complaints.

1613: Steven Gerrard goes over very easily in the penalty area, but ref Martin Atkinson isn't falling for that. Replays show that there was little or no contact with Steven Nzonzi

Oh dear :facepalm2: He usually saves the starfish for stoppage time.

I love Gerrrard but it angers me when he does this, and then says he's no cheat.

That was almost good, although probably stolen.

And Phil, it doesn't matter if you don't play well. Hell, United barely every get punished when they don't... Injustice is injustice.

I'd still stick it to Clownburg after today, 2-0 win or not. The guy is a ******* idiot.

Looks like Man United doing their usual burst of form just before Christmas, more dropped points for Liverpool and Chelsea getting stunned by Man City like that.

    Arsenal 2-0 Stoke
    Aston Villa 3-0 Hull
    Blackburn 0-0 Liverpool
    Man City 2-1 Chelsea
    Portsmouth 2-0 Burnley
    West Ham 0-4 Man Utd
    Wigan 2-3 Birmingham
    Wolverhampton 2-1 Bolton

Where was the injustice in your game against Chelsea?

    Serious question tbh.

Where was the injustice in your game against Chelsea?

    Serious question tbh.
It was a week ago, but the one defining moment I can still remember is when Arshavin was flying forwards on a counter-attack with a couple of players alongside. It was a 3v3 I think, and I remember he was run INTO by Ivanovic, who didn't take the ball at all with initial contact, but rather knocked Arshavin to one side, then literally forearmed him in the face as he went jogging off with the ball.

I can remember Andrei, having been grounded, kneeling and shouting to the ref with his arms up, and I remember thinking... yes, I couldn't agree more Andrei.

Then there's the goal, which I think the majority of people perceive as a fortunate call in Chelsea's favour. We'd still have been down 2-1, but you know that we had the momentum and crowd behind us then and could have pulled back. Bad call.

The general fortune of the ball going in off the bar-post, and then the same inch of bar for the own goal only add to the ridiculous recipe of misfortune and injustice.
