^ really great post, every track you've posted there i've been rinsing at the mo.
If you haven't already you need to get your hands on James Blake's refixes of Destiny's Child's "bills" and Weezy's "A Milli"

I love everything xxxy has put out so far. Can't believe he hasn't released h4u5 yet though; that tune is amazing.
Should be seeing Joy Orbison on the 19th, so I'm looking forward to lots of forthcoming doldrums tunes.

xxxy's got LOADS of stuff coming out soon, three 12s out in quick succession i think - can't wait. none of them h4u5 though (i don't know that track btw, got any mixes it's on?). and joy orbison and doldrums are looking gnar, the shrew would have cushioned the blow ep out now complete with actress re-mix. woohoo. he's playing dmz 5th birthday party tomorrow night but i can't afford train plus fifteen quid for entry at the moment

Depends on what time he played and finished. I didn't actually go as I felt it was way to cold. Heard it was great though.
But DJ's having bookings on the same night isn't something new. I've seen Joker once when he had played in coventry then drove all the way down to london for another set.

I think he finished about 1:30 or 2 ish... it takes an hour and half to get back to london but then he'd need time to get to brixton... I guess it could be done but CBA.

Well first of all I heard that Skins had some on...all the mainstreamers are starting to listen to it...therefore it has been killed.

    not really true imo.
it's just "cool" to "be into" dubstep - it doesn't matter if popular culture tries to get in on it... dubstep will, for the most part, stay relatively underground.
the people of which you speak of only like doorly remixes and the likes - they will never be interested in the good stuff.
