Physiotherapy and the future
Do you think that there will be lots of jobs for physiotherapists in the future? In some websites I read that the number of jobs in this profession is growing and will keep doing it for years. Do you think this is true?
A certain amount of physios will still be needed for assessment and the more skilled physio roles, but I think assistants will take over some of the more basic stuff like basic mobilising etc.
I think that the physio job will chnane a lot - various government reports and initiatives are pushing for physios etc to get involved in new areas in the community etc etc and we'll potentially have to pitch to show why physios are best for the job
