    Is this rare?
I wasn't really sure where to put this.

In my ASs (3 years ago now - still can't believe it's been that long), I got BBC, which was quite frankly ****e.

I resat 2 units in each subject and in my A-levels I eventually came out with AAAa (I picked up Economics at AS).

My friend's and I were discussing our uni applications though the other day, and I mentioned I was lucky I got an offer at the uni I was at because of my crap ASs.

She seemed shocked that I'd managed to raise my grades by 80 points, but I didn't think it was that rare, and I only did it through resits lol. Is it rare to raise AS grades at A2?

No I wouldn't say so because you have already revised for it once so its going over stuff you have already done so before. I raised my AS grade at A2 by retaking 2 units in a subject i was crap at.

It's not necessarily easy, but certainly not exactly rare. Congratulations on your results all the same. :yy:

From experience, a lot of people at my school raised their AS grades at A2. Most, in fact, because a lot of people hardly bothered revising for AS :facepalm2:

    I quote, from your profile:

"I'm about to graduate after three years at uni and have had the time of my life."

So when did you resit? I'm sure the numbers don't add up if you are a 3rd year uni student now :holmes: I may be wrong.

I've moved this to the A-Levels forum, as it shouldn't have been posted in General Discussion.
