I'm studying Higher maths/Physics/Chemistry in access @ bristol.

My choices are :

Queen Mary, University of London - Physics
University of Leicester - Physics with Astrophysics
Swansea University - Physics
Cardiff University - Physics
University of Hertfordshire - Astrophysics

Been acknowledged by Queen Mary and Hertfordshire via email so far, nerve wracking though xD I'm dreading interviews though :< reading through a lot of academic books so I have something (hopefully) interesting to say.

To anyone who is nervous about interviews though, its more for them to get to know your character and whether you'd do well in the department, and of course to see your interest in the subject (They'll know your academic/work experience already via your UCAS app.)

University of Cambridge (St. John's College) - interviewed 10/12, but pretty sure the rejection will come soon! (05/01)
Durham University (University College) - acknowledged
University of St. Andrews - acknowledged
Royal Holloway, University of London - unconditional offer :smile:

I still haven't decided what my 5th choice will be! I can't choose between Bristol, Exeter and Edinburgh...

I've applied for Adult Nursing:

Oxford Brookes: no response yet
UWE: acknowledged.

My application went on the 13th November and the wait isn't getting any easier!

I initially applied for Learning Disability nursing at Oxford Brookes and was offered an interview, but I withdrew my application and switched to adult nursing so I don't have to move home because my situation would make it very difficult. I emailed and called to explain, I hope I haven't annoyed them by messing them around :o:

City University London:- Bsc (Hons) Optom - Haven't heard anything yet
Manchester University: Bsc (Hons) Optom - Interview invitation
Aston: Bsc (Hons) Optom - Haven't Heard anything yet
Anglia Ruskin Cambridge: B Optom - Contacted me to advide me they dont take access students, THEN offered me another course ???? *confused*

I've listed them also in order of preference. City being top and Anglia being last choice.

hi got a response on 24 dec from sussex got an extended personal statement 6 questions each 150 words and they need my current results im on access course and a recent marked essay then after sending by 11 jan will see if they can call me for interview after 2 weeks bt he questions are difficult lol

I might apply for one other, I'm not sure yet! The only one I've visited is Sheffield a few years ago (liked it!) and I've seen Reading because I live about half an hour away. I'm just waiting on my reference from my OU tutor and then I can send my application off!

All the people that said 'offer' what was your offer?!

For example, how many merits/distinctions/level3 did they ask for???
My friend got an offer from Nottingham, they wanted at least 13 distinctions.
