you need to tell the unis you've applied to. it probably won't make a difference though
As it's a short course, it probably won't determine too much about whether you get a offer or rejection, but you should still tell the universities you've applied to, just out of courtesy really.

I'm afraid it's more than that - the OP is required to notify all the unis and UCAS of this amendment. I agree it's minor and unlikely to change anything, but when you sign off your UCAS form you are undertaking that the information provided is complete and accurate. If it turns out later that it isn't, that's when the problems can arise.
