manchester grades query

Hello, i am looking to apply to manchester for psychology even though i dont have a B in maths, only got a B? has anyone got in without maths gcse grade B or no if its worth applying or not?

i applied for audiology this year sent my aplication off on bout 5th december got a reply from manchester 2 days ago,nd my predicted grades are a b c
plus for gcses i attained all b's and 2 c's one c being in maths! sooooo... it is possible to apply, as long as ur p.s is gd and ur refrence is 2. i got an interview in march so. anyways GOOD LUCK with the aplication, hope this helped u

I got offered ABB for psychology in Manchester but I got B at AS maths though...

MEEE TOOO yeah corse as long as ur sratment nd refrence is gd- however i feel UCL may be less lenient our predicted grades are sufficent-all comes down to luck sooo. but yeah i mean were not applying for law or medicine sooo the grade boundarys can nd usually are lenient as audiology is noooooooooo were near as popular a corse. when did u send off urs also where did u apply?

Umm UCAS is being sent to unis 2moro...my predicted grade in psycho went up to an A..so now I have AAC lol...but like u said our course isnt popular..for the moment..i also applied to aston & may add bristol on EXtra. But i think my PS is good..so i really hope i get an offer from UCL..its where i really want to go!!! :smile:

IV applied to the same as u nd also REEELY WANNA GO TO UCL but yeah hope everything goes well foru coz if i can get an interview already then sooo can u, anywayz it would be gd to know if u get any offers/interviews i will do the same- just makes the process easier when u know there are peeps in a similar position.

U got an interview from UCL??!..sweet..when did u send off ure application...But yeah nobody in my school is doing audiology or has even heard about it lol..so its good ive got someone to talk to about it..

sent mine off last thursday so aweek ago tday! but the interview i have gt is for manchester Soz if i confused u but hopefully we will both get one for ucl :biggrin:

I cnt belive how quickly they replied the rest better soon- i mean even though its only bee a week. i really cnt wait for uni its gunna beee sickkkk- seriously though if all else fails i will go to london southbank :/
