Maths Geeks Needed To Help Lowely Mortal Make Sense Of Pretty Patterns

Right. OK. I am going to ask you maths people for a rule, how I would go about the following using an EASY TO REMEMBER FORMULA WITH NO FUNNY LOOKING NUMBERS :
1) How to find somethings velocity after x time

2)

What is the X's initial velocity vector?

What is the X’s velocity vector when x = y?

What is the X's position vector when x = y?

3)

How to find out momentum when given mass and velocity

4)

What is the value of X, the speed of Y to the right after impact?

5)

How to find out an coefficient between X and Y

How to find the common speed

6) A really really simple explanation of what homowhatsit matrices are and transformations!

Explain it one step at a time assuming the person is incredibly crap at maths and state the obvious!

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1) velocity = displacement / time = (distance with direction) / time

3) momentum = mass x velocity

How to find out momentum when given mass and velocity Multiply them together.

Right. OK. I am going to ask you maths people for a rule, how I would go about the following using an EASY TO REMEMBER FORMULA WITH NO FUNNY LOOKING NUMBERS :

letters you mean?

1) How to find somethings velocity after x time
Depends on its acceleration. You differentiate each time to go from position-->velocity-->acceleration and integrate to go from acceleration-->velocity-->position.

2)

What is the X's initial velocity vector?
ai +bj + ck
What is the X’s velocity vector when x = y?
see 1
What is the X's position vector when x = y?
see 1
3)

How to find out momentum when given mass and velocity
momentum= mass x velocity

4)

What is the value of X, the speed of Y to the right after impact?
Depends on the masses, assumptions etc involved. Look up conservation of momentum and conservation of kinetic energy

5)

How to find out an coefficient between X and Y
coefficient in what?
How to find the common speed
again, what?

6) A really really simple explanation of what homowhatsit matrices are and transformations!
'homowhasit' matrices are something youve just made up?

cmon, nobody's gonna be able to help if you cant even be bothered looking up the correct words

Explain it one step at a time assuming the person is incredibly crap at maths and state the obvious!

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would recommend sitting down and looking up each topic in a textbook. It might take a while to explain everything on here.
