Re: The Perfect Cup of TeaI'd recommend branching out into Chai. Lady Gray is good, but a bit of a fruity tea (hah, puns). Chai is slowly becoming one of my favourites to drink sans milk, with just a bit of sugar to compliment the cinnamon and ginger in it. Lady Gray, I find, needs a fair bit of sugar to bring out the sweetness of the oranges and lemons; same with Earl Gray, but that one works well with a drop of milk too (heinous crime in my eyes, but, desperate times called for desperate measures).(Original post by hassundlust)
Oh and have any of you tried Lady Grey tea? Drunk black its like happiness in a mug.
Back to the topic at hand: I'm obviously not a high-calibre tea brewer, as I boil the kettle, place the bag in the cup, pour on water, stir, remove bag, add sugar if needed, stir. Always end up with a very dark tea. I'm worse when it comes to coffee, but that's granulated and not real cafetiere material so it's fine, no?

Re: The Perfect Cup of TeaTis the mystery of the perfect fluke tea. I look forward to one sometime soon.(Original post by xsarahhh)
Today I made the best cup of tea! perfect amount of milk so it wasn't too strong or too milky, was perfect temperate too
but then I tried to make another cup after it and it was no-where near as good, and it burnt my mouth
IMO though nothing beats Starbucks tea....
