The Experiences of Younger Mothers at University
I am looking for student mothers under the age of 26 currently attending university to take part in an interview as part of my dissertation project.

The aim is to explore the experiences of younger mothers who attend university.

As a young mother myself, i am interested in how other younger mothers balance their studies and their family life.

This area has never been researched amongst mothers attending a university course; therefore I hope it will be beneficial to the topics of motherhood and education, and will allow younger mothers to express their experiences.

The interviews will be completely confidential and names will be changed.

It has been very difficult finding participants so if anyone can help in the smallest way possible i would be extremely grateful.

I know that people might be living far away from me but i do not need to do the interviews in person they could be done over the phone.

Please reply here or send me a message/email and i can send you further information.

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi

I'm a freelancer writer. I write on a variety of topics but I have written for a number of parenting magazines, such as Junior, Pregnancy & You & Father's Quarterly. I have been thinking of writing something on young mums who are at university. If i could get a publication interested would you be willing to contribute?

    Thanks

Hmm I would have fit into this category a while ago but I'm not at university any more. I did a year at university whilst my daughter was young, and then I managed 2 months at university with 2 young children but then I gave it up.

That's probably not much use to you.
