Year 12s: what will be the first way you research your future options? >>

Any1 from Birmingham Law who's already started the Law with French degree???

Birmingham's 1st and second year required modules include French Literature and French History. The history I can understand, but why Literature?? None of the other uni.'s require this. Has anyone who has already started this program found such courses to be necessary/useful? How are the courses there for the most part? Isn't there a Comparative law module?
