If people don't use this thread for it's intended purpose, I will just close it. This thread is for medically related discussion, this does NOT mean that posting something medical in an otherwise spammy post is allowed (that's what the thread in chat is for). I don't want to start handing out warnings for spamming this thread but I will if that's the only way to get the message across about what is and isn't allowed.

You said it was 'fiiiine' at the time

    It's a medical condition it is .
You need to measure your testicular volume - as you know it is very useful index of puberty in men. :yep:

Orchidometers are difficult to get hold off and therefore you might utilize the technique suggested by Bhalla et al. (1) They found that celebration maltesers are uncannily similar in shape and size to the 8ml orchidometer and more widely available in clinic.

So next time you are in endocrine clinic and your Consultant is furious about the lack of an orchidometer raid the nurses chocolate supply for this inventive new technique. :yep:

She misses you lots Makes me feel inferior.

Er, you clearly haven't experienced the rimz at his very best, you don't have sex with reems23, you strap on and get ready for the ride.

Why have you covered up his penis. :mad2: Medical students need to be familiar with the sexual male organ. We run the risk of a cohort of medical students being completely unfamiliar with the human penis and this is completely undesirable. :yep:

Also I fancied an erection on a Sunday morning.

gtfo, your cerebral cortex is lacking an imagination.
Wtf, I was simply asking a question about when I can see the requirements of the various unis, why would imagination have anything to do with it?

Work on your strange ethical and moral principles before worrying about requirements!

You used to be cool Kate. You really are slowly turning into the grinch

Edit: To keep it medically orientated, wikipedia will give us an overview of the (green skinned) incredible Hulk's origin: During the experimental detonation of a gamma bomb, scientist Bruce Banner rushes to save a teenager who has driven onto the testing field. Pushing the teen, Rick Jones, into a trench, Banner himself is caught in the blast, absorbing massive amounts of radiation. He awakens later in an infirmary, seeming relatively unscathed, but that night transforms into a lumbering grey form that breaks through the wall and escapes. A soldier in the ensuing search party dubs the otherwise unidentified creature a "hulk".

Did you even read that post? I specifically said that adding a medical related thing to an otherwise spammy post is NOT allowed. And yes, I am turning into a grinch but it is also a forum wide decision that chat threads outside of chat need to be orientated to the forum in which they are situated.

This is a completely untenable and quite frankly silly new forum wide decision. I cannot understand what the point of this thread is supposed to be - is it now aiming to be a small journal club where the finer points of Wolff Parkinson White Syndrome are discussed or latest NEJM papers?

Does this mean all the general chat now moves to TSR med student society as is this is apparently somewhat immune from this latest dictat.

Instead there is no a rather oddly placed medics chat thread in "Chat" with a comment from JR that "seeing as this isn't wanted in medicine anymore".

Surely a vital role of the medicine forum is for applicants and current students to find friends and confidants. Perhaps and hopefully these friendships can help provide support for those who are struggling whether it be emotionally or in any other way with their course or issues related to it. Micro-managing threads such as this and preventing such relationships developing surely prevents a vital function of the forum and it needs to be reconsidered.
