How much do you spend in a week in central london?

Living costs? Around £120ish
It depends, are you including accommodation/tuition fees or is this just for social expenses/food etc :s-smilie:

800 is a wee bit much. Maybe mmm.. 200-500 depending on how much you go shopping and how much you eat out. xD

Food - £400, so that includes groceries, restaurant, takeways
Clothes - £300
The rest - video games, renting dvds, travel, cinema, etc

Jeez, no it's not. A room is between £100-£130. Anything near £200 then you're going for something a student wouldn't/shouldn't be looking for.

So what? You clearly don't know how to manage money if you're a student paying £200pw.
To give you a rough idea, as a student I was spending about:

£130 on rent and bills
£30 on food
£40 on going out

It sounds like loads but you manage okay because you get a bigger loan and you dont spend much during the exam period or when youre visiting home.

I live with my family, in actual fact.

Anyway, upon further researching, a room around here is about £120 a week, wouldn't
know what they look like though.

In which case I would budget about £150-250 :yep: it all depends on how much you go out and how much you drink.
