Yes they are great unis. But they are not realistic for all applicants.

ask UCL.
I do eco at UCL, and its alright, lots of work, teachers are good
but yes LSE are def better for eco than UCL.

The rest of your 4 are management/Business which are less competitive than Economics. So good luck with them.


LSE accepts fewer percent of the applicants to its Management major than it does to the Economics-According to their prospectus...

It's from the LSE website:
BSc Economics:
Applications 2008: 2,942
First year students 2008: 200

BSc Management:
Applications 2008: 1,386
First year students 2008: 59

So as you can see, while the acceptance rate is around 6,8% for ECON, it is only around 4,3% for Management. I know both of them are ridiculously low but I wouldn't say that it's easier to get into Management:smile:

Not really. In pure academic terms, they're near identical. LSE performs better in the employment/alumni stakes.
