Bristol, Warwick, UCL or York?

Hello, I need advice picking my insurance place. My offer from Imperial, which is my firm, is A*AA with a merit in maths AEA. So in other words, it's VERY likely i'll end up at my insurance place.

My choices are
Bristol - Maths and compsci AAA
York - maths and compsci AAB
UCL - compsci AAB
Warwick - compsci AAB

Kinda do want to live away from London, but then again UCL is pretty damn good. Help? x

UCL is pretty much in the same league as all of those other ones when it comes to CS. You should choose based on other factors than academic due to the closeness between them all :smile:

That said, I did my first degree at York and loved it - it's far enough from London, but still only 2 hours by the East Coast Mainline so not that remote either for heading back :smile:

Warwick or Bristol, they're about the same level as Imperial.

UCL / York are probably the next tier down (although only just).

Cambridge is by far in the lead, I think that's pretty indisputable. The next four are probably Imperial College / Bristol / Oxford / Warwick (without order) - they all have pluses and negatives so I'm not sure I could clearly rank one above the other.

After that probably some ordering of York / UCL / Loughborough / Soton.

Edinburgh's probably in the top ten somewhere, but I don't have enough experience with graduates from there to rank it reasonably.
