Re: Wjec Ictyes they can, not only is it best to read the WJEC textbook, but find the WJEC exam notes on various school sites-some have them!(Original post by pinkpearl17)
what did people answer for the question about wire drawing? (the bit to do with CAD)
also are they allowed to ask us about that because I couldnt find anything about it in the WJEC textbook?
they ask Qs like this for students that think outside of the box; what i mean by this is that they ask Qs to see if students have read outside of the classroom and done individual studying around the topics -
Re: Wjec Ict
Hey, I was thinking of getting a remark too for the WJEC ICT papers, for the exam I got a D, 68/120 which I was predicted a B but I felt as though I would possibly make an A due to reading the text book 3 times & doing many past papers, plus finding the exam really good.
I got 62/80 for the coursework which my teacher said id make an A when he marked it in class.
I swear I was marked wrongly for the exam
, your not alone.

Re: Wjec IctI know how you feel. I did not do ICT at gcse and the A2 coursework is confusing at times.(Original post by nataliexo)
Good to see im not the only one whose mark was let down by the exam
I have an A in the coursework and a D in the exam, so i'm resitting in Jan...
The A2 c/w is pretty hard stuff too "/
Good Luck for the January resit

Re: Wjec Ict
Reeally strange exam, my first sitting I got a really low D (pretty much an E) done almost nothing extra for my resit and got a decent B. I even felt I done much better on my first sitting.
I don't know how the hell they are marking this exam. Their specimen/old mark schemes are riddled with errors. I guess just hope for a decent marker.

Re: Wjec IctHey, how far are you through the coursework? I have made tables, forms and queries, and added a few validation rules in there aswell, my teacher said the testing 'phase' is a long part of it, and no one in our group has reached that stage yet(Original post by Chantell)

Re: Wjec Ict
The best text books are called "Essential ICT for WJEC" there's a book for AS and another for A2
I'd get hold of a copy of the spec from their web site too
Other than that, you just need some kind of mind reading skills to work out what the question is asking!
For what it's worth, WJEC is waaaaayyyyyy better than OCR!
