Just do as many past papers as possible and try to get used to answering the questions. Also, do youhave any revision books?

P.S I am also diabolical at close reading, passed my NAB by 1/2 a mark therefore I will have to do a lot of revising before my prelim at the start of February...

Get a copy of Higher Close Reading by Colin Eckford and Ann Bridges. Use the guidance in that to practise as many past papers as you can.

You will find that the questions do not vary greatly year on year. There are formulaic ways of meeting the success criteria if you are not naturally analytical; all you have to do is learn the methods to answer the specific question types.

Most importantly DO NOT WAFFLE. It wastes your precious time and irritates the marker:mad:

Sounds simple, but JUST ANSWER THE QUESTION:yep:
