Oops, my apologies. I forgot to post back in here when I worked out what the problem was.

Yes, mine's been fine for an hour or so now (though I'd bypassed the issue with a proxy site until it resolved itself - if that helps anyone discover anything more about the issue!). Seems whatever the issue was is now fixed.

I have some to add, too, actually, if it'd help work out what went on. I saved them earlier. My Firefox browser and my boyfriend's Chrome Browser (his on Vista, mine on Linux) did nothing at all. White screens. However, I downloaded Arora at one point, for test purposes, and the result was this (with stylesheets plunged into chaos, it seems):

I had this too eventually whilst trying to use the site on my phone (coincidentally, on the O2 mobile network )

edit: that's a lie, I had the problem whilst connected to O2 wifi, but it worked fine on the O2 mobile network.

I was unable to completely access the site from around 2am yesterday too 4pm today, and its still going slow now.

If it helps, I'm with BE Un Limited internet which use the same network as O2.
