once it seem to load slow on my browser just a few mins ago. Seemed fine up until then. Just a minor one.

Guess you'd have to fix these minor midnight slowness, or is it the fact that TSR is having to change the date?

Friday or Saturday evening, I think, but I couldn't be completely sure. It won't be far off from that, though.

Thought you guys might be interested to hear that the dev guys have looked in to these problems and (though I don't fully understand why a problem is happening) some changes we've been planning to the server set up for a while now (which I'll aim to post up the details about today or tomorrow) should mean the problem causing the slowness at midnight shouldn't happen any more once those changes are in place. The think this should happen within days, so we hope we won't have to put up with these problems for much longer.

Has been arbitrarily quivering between molasses and cheetah for me this evening.

We can possibly expect a couple of short periods of disruption to the site tonight between 11pm and 1am - each lasting for about a minute. You might not notice it, but don't be too surprised if you cannot load pages at certain times this evening.

Also, the longer period of down time I mentioned a couple of posts up has been rescheduled and is likely to happen this Thursday about 10pm - expect the site to be unavailable for up to an hour.

Had a brief moment there where the site wouldn't load. The homepage was plain white and when I tried a specific forum it just showed this text:

It feels like we've fixed several midnight hiccups...but that there is always another just over the horizon waiting to show itself

Not a comment on slowness, but the site is loading very fast on my phone now, threads take seconds to load rather than up to a minute or more!

for those saying it was slow near ten it was becasue they were doing updates to make it faster.
