It went slow for about 2 mins in that a page wouldn't load (but it didn't time out), but apart from that no.
Can you remember about what time that was?

I'd just like to say that often on threads, the posts load, but the quote box, article updates etc. to the right of the posts take forever to load sometimes, leaving the posts "stretched out".

It could quite easily be the boxes on the right that are causing some slowness. They always load last for me.

It's been virtually unusable for the past five minutes. The home page actually loaded relatively quickly (though, perhaps slower than usual), but every single other page I tried took minutes to load.

grrr the sites being slow again. the layout is not showing up properly, and neither are the icons, and a page takes about 2-3 mins to load, when i finally manage 2 get onto a forum to post a new thread, the page only shows up till where it says title, so i cant type a message in. its been like this for the past few days, my interent conection is fine though.

That popped up when I tried to load a page at about 2 minutes to midnight, just after I had submitted a post.

I then clicked back and submitted it again, but I got the 5 minute post repetition message so I assume it got through the first time.

The site pretty much died for me just now. No pages would load at all for ~5 minutes, but other sites were fine.

Ditto this. Perhaps Mr. Williams pressed a button again? :p:

My guess would be some automated process running at midnight. :dontknow: That, or people were really keen to discuss this morning's Edexcel exams! :p:

For once, I'm not to blame for this... I didn't get in until 4:30 this morning.

Aye, we've had slowness here twice in the last minutes. 17:25-17:27 and then again at 17:29 according to my computer's clock.

Could it be something to do with the developers in Canada doing something major with vB3.8? :holmes:

No, doubt it. The vB3.8 dev site is currently completely separate to the main TSR site. Plus if it were the developers would be able to identify the issues here more easily

I'm still finding some pages taking longer than usual to load (taking 15-20 seconds to 'generate') and am keeping the devs informed. They have noticed a problem around the time we first experienced it just there, so hopefully they are on to something.

Yeah things are running super slow for me as well. its strange that the Admin CP seems to running at normal speed, its just a problem with the actual site loading.
