I was mentoring yesterday for the lower sixth enrollment day, and i went quickly to speak to the ema cordinator about everything.
And she said she had only noticed how bad the situation was becuase all the lower sixth didnt have anythign back so she phoned EMA, took her 40 minutes to get a straight forward answer.

the reason why its taking ages is that they said that they have new computer software and its difficult to process alot of things at once on this new server or something like that.
they said they are posting all the confirmations this week,

My parents stuff came in a different envelope, although I'm not sure what day because I was on holiday and just returned to find 2 envelopes! So yep I'm guessing they'll come separately

Oh ****...well i got the letter for my parents and the NoE for myself and still haven't got the P60s or bank account evidence back yet...i think i'll wait for like a few more days and then i'll ring them up to see where they are.
Did you send the TC602 form or P60s..maybe we sent the different evidence so thats why there's a delay??? I hope so anyway otherwise the P60s are gone!!

I also haven't received my supporting documents back, but have got everything else. I rung them up and they said I should have them by the end of this month as they are having to scan all of the documents into the system this year, or something like that. I hope they haven't lost the stuff because the P60 is important.

Also, are the bank account details for anyone else blank on the NoE? I didn't fill them out on the form because I am going into upper sixth this year and had EMA last year.

    Re: EMA Questions Thread
Well ive just rung them, because ive not even had my letter saying im entitled to EMA or had my NOE I know im entitled to EMA because my mum and dad dont earn much money. Anyway... after about 20 mins on the phone i finally got through to someone. I told her that ide sent my forms off about 2 months ago now and have not heard a thing back since. She basically just asked if ide sent my application off in the envelope that they provided which i answerd yes, then she said well i dont see why we wouldnt have recieved it then  that was no use to me as i dont know any more about my application than when i got on the phone in the first place. Shes tole me to wait 3 weeks and see if anything comes and if it does not then ive got to ring back. Looks like i wont be getting my first EMA payment then
Hope My Forms Do Come Before The 2nd Of September!!

Depends on your school/college. At my old school, it was every week. At the one I'm at now, it's every 2 weeks.
