Re: TSR Game Bargains ThreadThank God I already had loads of the games that went on sale, otherwise I could quite easily have topped that
Even attempting in vain to show some restraint, I ended up buying 22 (plus Jade Empire in the daily deal an hour after the summer sale ended...I had shown restraint to not buy it at 50% off on the last day of the sale, but got it at 75% off less than 24 hours later
)

Re: TSR Game Bargains ThreadThe exact same thing happened to me. Jade Empire is an awesome game...I remember it from a while back, ha!(Original post by Dalimyr)

Re: TSR Game Bargains Thread
New Indie Royale is up, guys. I only recognise a couple of the games in it, and while Puzzle Agent is crap and has a story that makes sod all sense, Geneforge is great and this bundle has the entire five-game series

As for the other games in the bundle (Oniken, Mutant Storm Reloaded, SWIFT☆STITCH and Unepic), I know nothing about them so can't really comment. -
Re: TSR Game Bargains ThreadBuddy, how will you even find the time to play all of those games.(Original post by Dalimyr)

Re: TSR Game Bargains ThreadEh, if I actually tried then I could probably fly through a lot of them...I mean, your typical modern FPS can quite easily be completed in a single day (as painful as it was for me to stroll through completing Modern Warfare 2 in under 12 hours on its release date and then realise I'd wasted £40 or whatever on it when it was that friggin' short). 8-12 hours sadly is pretty normal for the campaign for one of those sorts of games, indie games can sometimes be so short you can finish them in under an hour, professionally-made games in other genres might aim for 15-20 or 20-30 hours, and then you get the eternal time sinks like Football Manager.(Original post by Tzarchasm)

If I said I expected to play every game in my Steam collection, I'd be lying. For starters, I think I'd have to be totally wasted to even consider installing and 'playing' John Deere: Drive Green (a farming simulator), nor would I have any intention of ever playing utter tripe like Shellshock 2: Blood Trails (which, IIRC, is a crap zombie-shooting FPS based in the middle of the Vietnam war), but there are plenty games in my collection that I plan on playing...sooner or later

I dunno, I obviously have never touched it even though it's sitting in my Steam account so I can't judge how good it is as a game and I wouldn't have the faintest idea how it is as a simulation of farming vehicles, but if I want to enjoy a bit of farming then I'll load up ZSNES and grow some corn and potatoes in Harvest Moon (or have a giggle at people moaning about how much they hate farming while they're grinding away at increasing their farming level in Runescape
). But whatever, it's something that's not on the agenda for me any time in the near or distant future. Right now I'm too busy downloading the stuff I got from the summer sale and indieroyale and backing all that up, and then I'll probably be continuing with my run through the Assassin's Creed games or one of my new purchases might tempt me into playing it.

Runescape was much better before farming

Re: TSR Game Bargains ThreadTF2 runs on older hardware. A gig or 2 of memory and a budget graphics card from 2009 ran it well for me(Original post by AaronM1D1)
I never had time for farming. I was too busy beating the crap out of Jad.
I long for the day I buy a PC capable of running TF2. Gaben can have my wallet. He can also have my penis as I won't be using that much when I'm tucked away in my room on Skyrim.

Re: TSR Game Bargains Thread
The "Gone Fishin' Bundle" has gone live at www.indieroyale.com
The games I recognise aren't exactly spectacular, but like I tend to say with these things, when it's £3 or so for half a dozen games, why bother whinging?

Re: TSR Game Bargains ThreadTesla's Lab?(Original post by A.J10)
There's a new humble bundle, another android one. The current average is $6.07, which is just over 4 quid.
Results, Tesla's Lab and now this
