Oh those damn Americans, always forcibly occupying sovereign nations and changing them at will, does anyone else smell a regume change in Haiti? :rolleyes:
Who cares. Maybe they'll finally make something of the country. If we're not careful it'll just turn back into the steaming pile of turd country that it was before. I mean we've sent £20 billion of aid there, before the earthquake you could have bought the country for less.

I don't see any incentive for the US to do so.
it's like iraq, but with collapsed buildings instead of oil.
They have had little success in the past, so i wouldn't worry that much. Also how would they argue their reasons for ocuppying the country, i haven't heard of many islamic extremeist terroists coming form haiti in the past.

The USA has occupied Haiti a number of times in history and it's never done any good, so I doubt they'd be up for any more.

Perhaps it's simply about installing a government which acts in their favour.
