what degree classification am I likey to get?

Hi,

I am on my final year at Uni and so far completed first semester. I didnt do to well this year so far because of health issues.

I got Low B's throughout year 2 and have recently got mid C grades for the 1st semester this final year. If I was to get D's for my 2nd semester can anyone tell me what degreee classification I'd likely to walk away with? 2.2? 3rd?
:beard: 2.2

If you're at wolverhampton, there's a form thing on the website somewhere for you to work it out. Basically its your top six third year modules (Must include your project) then your best remaining 6 grades from year three or two. Then add the number marks up and divide by 12.
I was also told that there was a calculator on the wolf/wlv website, but could not find it.

So I made one: http://testbed.elementfx.com/

If you want to work it out the hard way, get the regs pdfs: http://www.wlv.ac.uk/default.aspx?page=9555, work out the grade point average of your best 180 credits - this must include your individual project/90 credits of level 5/6 modules (this is for undergrads - see relevant regs for more details if you're a postgrad/topup/hnd etc student), then compare your gpa using the table in regs pdf H.8.2, and, voila, you have your degree classification.

I prefer to use the calculator.

all the best

Matthew
