Distance learning course?

I started two in Jan a couple of years ago (English and Human Health and Physiology). I had passed with an A in English and a C in science by the following Aug.

I dont think youll be able to get on a 6th form/college course this late though. And the ICS courses i did cost me about £400, and then nearly £120 for exams and other stuff.

Check into the requirements for your chosen apprenticeship. Will they accept level 2 literacy and numeracy qualifications as equivalent?
If so contact your city/county council adult learning who may accept you onto their free courses.
Or do them online via learndirect

You can enter for the exam now, so that you take it in the summer. You will need to arrange for someone to authenticate your English coursework. This is usually a private tutor. You will also need to attend an external speaking and listing assessment. These are usually held at regional venues. At present, you need to contact local schools and colleges to find somewhere to take your exam. It is worth researching this thoroughly because accomodation fees will vary.
