I'm hoping for 11A*s, but might end up with a couple of As instead

The majority of my target grades are Bs and Cs with a few As. But I only want Bs and above, I'm already getting high As and A*s in my mocks and c/w. But the prediction methods are so stupid, they base it off your parents' income, where you live etc!

I have to agree with you there, utterly stupid the methods are

Also I was checking and it sad my friend has a higher chance of getting an A* in maths and the only reason why is because he got higher in english even though I have always been better at maths

Our school hasen't really told us our official predicted yet, but 11A*s. But I assume a few As may creep in due to English and German.

    LOL!
god, so would i, everyone in my school would, they base it on SAT score in year 6 + 9 here
but no, 15/16 at A*/A grades. not going to happen :| four of them are ICT which is just a joke really D: + then i'm going to take a gcse in a language during sixth form.

I've already got 4 A*s and an A.. out of the ones left, I'd like another 4A*s and 2As, plus an A in the FSMQ :3

Although I suspect I'll probably get a B in Spanish..

Well 3 of myne are ICT too lol!!!....5 are from science ( double and triple...i know ridiculous!)....Maths, English (2), History, Sociology, French, Art, RE.....I hope no Bs creep in!....I would be very disappointed!

When we moved into year 10 our targets for yr 11 were based on KS3 Levels i think, but now its based on coursework, effort, mocks, etc and if the teacher thinks your up to getting a particular grade. You should have taken a language now!
double AND triple? good god :| there seems little point in that :P + i took engineering (double) music.. basically, my school is a fail and didnt run language gcses which really irritated me D: my only option is during sixth form.. it also didnt run most humanities, ie. re + sociology, i basically got stuck with music although i have little/no interest in it :P I think thats my B subject really. D:
my school don't run mocks either, they think that it will distract us from the actual exams... how that works, i don't know D:
what are you hoping to take at a-level?

No offense but your school seems f-d up!...NO HUMANITIES OR LANGUAGES! wtf lol, My A-level choices are listed in my sig. Biology, Chemistry, Maths (yawn), English Literature!
none taken! its messed up to the max! :P im swapping schools for sixth form because they won't let me take the a-level subjects I want there, and i wont have the language opportunity.

+ those are my choices too, physics is blah so literature it is, hoping to go into medicine

I'm not half as clever as most people on TSR so I'm just hoping for B's and above.
