Economic reading

Thinking about buying a couple more books to read and just wanted to see what people thought about them. I've read quite a few broader books like Armchair Economist or Wordly Philosophers etc. so I'm trying to read some more specific stuff.

I was thinking about Friedman's "Capitalism and Freedom" and Schumpeter's "Capitalism, Socialism, and Democracy". I also currently have Baumol's "The Free-Market Innovation Machine" which is interesting but gets quite technical at times - not sure if I should just try understand however much I can or read something "easier".

Oh yes, I did post this on the other thread but it's seriously inactive and sorta wanted help now.

capitalism and freedom is supposedly quite good.

have not read it myself yet.

for me animal spirits is the other one i want to read when I have time, i am interested in the subject matter.

but I dont know how technical or rather how in-depth they are, i take it you are looking for that sort of thing.

Well I'm looking for something that goes into SOME depth but obviously not too much where I then can't understand a word of it.
