Changing A levels midway


Basically, I'm a bit stuck.

Applied to Warwick, Edinburgh and York to study Management/ International Management and have stated that I am studying A level Mathematics. Now I am a bit scared that I won't be able to achieve an A grade if I am given an offer and feel that I could achieve it if I studied Stats instead.

Would it be disastrous if I emailed the uni's to say that I have changed my A level to Stats and would they think it's weird?

changing a levels half way through sounds like a bad idea fullstop.

(especially considering if you started in september, you have crossed the 'halfway point').

I started in Sept and was sitting both AS and A2 in June.
Why do statistics? Maths is more fun! Not to mention more respected. You should work at getting the best you can, if you receive an offer on the condition that you achieve an A, then work work work!

I started in Sept and was sitting both AS and A2 in June.


so am I; still its not a good idea to just drop a subject halfway as youve practically wasted all the time studying up to that point, and then theres all the complication of 'readjusting' to the new subject.
