    Re: The Road to 3/4/5
    Pretty decent day.
    Bench
    20x5 40x3 50x3 60x2 70x5 75x5 80x6 90x1F 95xf
Ass came off bench for 95 and also for my second rep on 90. Just not tight enough. Weights don't feel heavy per se, I'm just setting my feet up in a position where leg drive=ass in air. The wider position I tried today needs tweaking.
    Front Squat
    20x5 40x3 60x3 70x2 80x1 90x1 97.5x1 (beltless) 105x1 (PB)
Pretty easy. 97.5 was probably harder than 105 but I was a bit psyched up for that. At least 2.5kg in there. Maybe 5kg on a good day? Happy with that.
An ass load of arms. Light weights, feeling de pump/contraction. Some rear delts in there, esp between sets.

Current plan is to stop doing heavier sets for next week. Shoulders feel a bit jacked up. Need to stop being lazy with cable rows/heavier chins.

    Re: The Road to 3/4/5
Very mixed day. First rep of every set feels strong. Then just felt kind of nauseous/out of groove. Stomach is definitely not appreciating increased intake of milk/coffee.
    Press
    20x3 30x3 35x3 40x3 45x3 50x3 55x3 60x2,1 50x7
Small break in between because I fell out of groove. Wasn't tight at the bottom. Trying to avoid lots of layback/grinding out reps.
I supersetted some snatch balances in here to about 55kg. Wrist felt meh in that position so stopped.
    Front Squat
    50x2,2 60x2 70x2 80x1 87.5x5,5,4
Started to round over on the last set and ran out of gym time. Will go to 90 for 3x5 next time. Just need to remember to tuck the chin.
Did some face pulls between sets.

Not enough volume and not lifting for the rest of the week so just chillin' and mobbing for a bit gym-wise. May do some face pulls every day as shoulders have been feeling meh/been too lazy on back work.

Quite sure PBs will fall as and when food intake normalises (had 2 shakes, 2 bananas and a small sandwich before this session between 8am and 8pm, when I started the session) and I'm not relying on milk+shake+other crap for protein/food requirements.

Nice pressing. What are you weighing in at these days? Within 10kg of a bw press now, surely, if not closer.

    Re: The Road to 3/4/5
Thanks, I weigh about 70kg, give or take a kilo. I've been about the same level on the press for a month. Just been too lazy to do the assistance work/back off sets I need to in order to get the press up.

think I've heard of chin tucking/neck packing before, but can you explain what its for and what it is? thoracic extension? I tend to round over before my quads are anywhere near failure ¬_¬

It's pretty simple brah. Lifting is all about trying to look sexy. Try squatting. Then try squatting while giving yourself as many chins as possible.

    Re: The Road to 3/4/5
I've been lazy about logging and training.
    Tuesday
    Bench
    20x5 30x3 40x3 50x3 60x3 70x2 75x5 80x3 85x1
Paused, reasonably clean. Took it nice and easy today.
    Front Squat
    20x5 40x2 50x2 60x2 70x2 80x2 90x2 100x2 107.5x1
All pretty smooth, only last set belted.
    Some other **** I can't remember.

    Today:
Mini back and bis. I really need to train them more. Shamefully weak/have definitely lost visible size on both. Which is not a good thing when you're as small as I am.
Neutral Grip Chins (chest to bar, >60 seconds of rest between sets)
    BWx10,6,4
    Wide Grip Pullups
    BWx5,5
DB Rows (>60 seconds of rest between sets, no rest between sides)
    20x7 30x7 40x7,6,5
    BB Curls
    30x10,6

You have nothing to do and you didn't squat, bench or deadlift? What is this?

Don't know and to be honest, haven't tried in a while. Had a minor tweak after the last attempt so just going to do FS/Olympic stuff for lower body and carry on dicking about with upper body stuff.

    Strong this.

Why do you keep turning up like 30 minutes before the gym closes when you're done with exams and everything?

I did this at home. Not really a timing issue, more an I didn't feel very energetic and didn't want to leave the house issue.

    Long ass workout:
    Press
    20x3 30x3 40x3 50x5,5,5,5,5 55x1 60x1 61x1 62x1 63xf
Probably shouldn't have gone for the 63 but would have made it fresh/if someone had shouted at me to smash my head through.
    Clean
    20x3 30x2 40x2 50x2 60x1,1,1,1 65x1,1,1,1 70x1,1,1 40x1,1,1 50x1,1,1 60x1,1,1 65x1,1,1 70x1 75x1 77.5xf
    Clean and Jerk
    40x1,1,1 50x1,1,1 60x1,1,1
Lots of face pulls/cable back stuff
    MedX Row
    100x10 200x10 300x8
Hammer Curls/Nautilus Biceps Machine/Magnum Preacher Curl

Some experimentation between power and split jerks. Some cleans were squat, some were power. Generally all of my heavy **** was power.

Technique wasn't really on point today but strength was good, best it's been in a while. Also, I think getting my front squat up has made a big difference to my starting position for cleans.

Some snatches, but aggravated something in my back.
