A2 physics help

I'm given a picture of a positively charged particle either side of a lead plate, deflected by a magnetic field of flux density 1.5T. The field is perpendicular to the plane of the picture and i have to estimate the actual radius of the track made by the particle above the lead plate.
The lead plate is 6mm thick.

I'm so confused :frown:
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

err lets see: a +ve particle is given well you could perhaps find out its value?> try equating these two equations:
1)f= BILsin(theta) 2)f=kq/r^2?> so from the info given you have: B= 1.5T , current is charge/time so you could perhaps sub in. 1.6x10^-19/one second.
oh yea so from equation one find out what 'Force' is.
Sub in that 'F' value into equation Number 2. Viola
Please quote me for the reply. Thanks
