Little Advice-Changing Branches.

Hello, I am applying to study Adult Nursing at University. However, and I probably knew this all along, I really am interesting in mental health nursing.

At the time when I applied I was feeling a little low in confidence, and since have experienced mental health problems myself I wondered if this would help or hinder my abilities as a nurse.

I have experience working with people with dementia and I also help out at a place for street drinkers, so I do have relevent experience.

ANYWAY, I have some interviews coming up. Do you think it's best to ring before the interview and tell them of my change of heart and ask if I can change courses? Tell them on the day of the interview? or way til they have offered me a place?

Thanks!

I'd say call and mention it before..

//edit - it looks like you have useful life experience, thatmight make them happier to swap you over
