Re: Ask Absolutely Anything! (+FAQ)There's no rules either so I'm gonna have to use the settings TheTallOne gave above.(Original post by scherbatsky)
Ah this is annoying because my inbox is in French and I can't figure out how to change it to English so I can give exact instructions. But basically it doesn't mention forwarding at all, you need to find something called "Rules ... " something or other and from there you can add another email address and have a copy of all emails sent to your Warwick account sent there as well.
I guess you could just use the settings TheTallOne gave above, but the Rules method is less complicated (if you find it, lol). -
Re: Ask Absolutely Anything! (+FAQ)I think I've got it. Unfortunately, the stupid windows live inbox doesn't work correctly in Opera and I had to switch to Internet Explorer to set everything right but I hope it works and I won't have to worry about it any more. Like, the outlook inbox is SO ugly and user unfriendly IMHO ...(Original post by scherbatsky)

On another matter: My timetable shows a clash between the two modules I really want to do, but it's only temporary (weeks 2-5). Anyway I can get away with missing 3 lectures of one module to attend classes for the other one? (the temporary one is middle English translation classes). Is there anything that can be done about that or do I just have to choose between the two modules? (Two departments - bad ida?) -
Re: Ask Absolutely Anything! (+FAQ)Okay I'm guessing you got it all sorted with the above settings by now but either way I finally have instructions in English :P when you are in your Outlook Web App, go to Options > Organize E-Mail > and click on New... where a window for a New Inbox Rule will open up and select [Apply to all messages] for the first option and 'Redirect the message to' for the second option and click 'Select one' and then put in the email address you want to forward it to at the bottom of the consequent window. And ta da, you're done.(Original post by piszczel)
There's no rules either so I'm gonna have to use the settings TheTallOne gave above.
Am I the only person who can see these options or something?

Re: Ask Absolutely Anything! (+FAQ)Send a test email to check if it works, and if it does forward properly you won't have to worry about your Outlook inbox for a while(Original post by Segi)

Re: Ask Absolutely Anything! (+FAQ)I couldn't see them in Opera. They're all there in IE, no clue about Firefox/Chrome but probably Opera is the only one that won't cooperate with Microsoft lol.(Original post by scherbatsky)

I switched to IE just to set the forwarding and all the options were there.
Which is a bit ridicolous if you ask me cause Opera is miles better than IE -

For admissions into Maths do they require you to do the full Further Maths A-level or is AS sufficient??
You have to do the full FM A-level. -
Re: Ask Absolutely Anything! (+FAQ)
This might be me being thick. but when i'm enrolling and choosing how my tuition fees will be be paid. Do i choose they will be paid in full by SLC or in part? Because acording to my student finance letter i will be getting half my tuition fee at the start of term and the second half in may.

Yes the SLC is paying for your tuition fees in full, they're just paying it in instalments -
Re: Ask Absolutely Anything! (+FAQ)
How likely are events during freshers' going to sell out? I.e. is it really necessary to start buying tickets/passes now, or can I just wait until I get there and decide closer to the time?
Also, we can buy NUS Extra cards on at the freshers' fair yah? Is it simple enough to just turn up with all our usual details and sign up?
Thanks in advance, quote me and posso rep offered for help ofc. -
Re: Ask Absolutely Anything! (+FAQ)If you plan on going to the Freshers Ball and a handful of other events during the Fortnight then I suggest you get the Freshers' Pass now (or the Platinum card if you want). There are a limited number of passes available and they do sell out before the start of term. Events that will sell out will be the Freshers Party and the gigs. Skool Dayz is pretty much a must as well. The queue for the first Top B/Manic Monday was insanely massive last year, but now that the full union is open it will be managed better -but expect to queue right around the atrium and out by the cash machines on that night.(Original post by jakash)

NUS Extra cards - it is best to sign up online now and remember to submit your photo! The card needs to be printed and delivered to the SU beforehand. If you buy it now, you can pick it up from the Freshers Fair in the first few days or from the SUHQ if the NUS stall is not there.

Oh well.
