When can you accept your firm offer?

I have 2 offers and am still waiting to hear back from other universities and it's almost March!!!
One of the offers i know i'm going to put as my firm choice, but i'm waiting to hear back from my insurance.

I really want to get started on my accommodation for Nottingham tomorrow, as they give first pick to people who put it as their firm choice.

Can i reply and put it as my firm now or do i have to wait to hear back from the other places first?

I think you have to reply to all your offers at the same time which is when ucas tells you that you can when you have received ALL your offers. Accomodation won't be done until at least march/april as not all universities reply to offers until then.

Edit from the Nottingham website:

"Apply to us for accommodation from 1 March 2010 onwards and before the deadline of 1 August 2010"

You can cancel your application to those other universities.
You could decline the other three offers that have not replied.

It seems early for a university to be sorting out accommodation?? Mine does not until May (or maybe that is late!)

If you really want to go to Nottingham would you mind not having an insurance or something?

Nottingham have a really good accommodation guarantee, so there's no point rushing things for that.

You can't accept offers until you have revieved an offer, been declined or withdrawn from each university you have applied for.
